James' Good Bye party...

Two weekends ago I threw a little "good bye" party for my friend James. There were 7 kids there. The original plans were to go on an hour long boat ride then head over to the park, but unfortunately the boat wasn't working and we ended up going over to the park earlier. We didn't really do much at the park because it was soooo hot!! But we had a good time. We mainly just hung out...in the shade...played basketball and talked. =) I'm glad we were able to do that. And I hope James liked it. ;)

mirror action!!!!

yesterday was soooo much FUN!!!! i went down town by Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall and walked to the huge doors that criss-cross each other at the corner of the street!!! =) i walked in and looked up and saw where the three huge mirrors met and couldn't help but take a picture of it!!! =) it was sooo cool!!! i'd like to go back with a few more people and take pictures!!! that would look soo cool!!! haha!

my new favorite park!!!! =)

yesterday my mom, brother and I went on a little drive around Scottsdale looking for some good "balance" pictures for my photography project. While we were driving around we discovered new hidden places and i found my new favorite park!!!!! haha!!! =) their was sand, water, and a mini play set at this park!!! and i liked it because it was hidden behind a shopping center!!! i could've stayed their all day!!! (and if the water wasn't soooo cold i would've played in that too!!!!)

YAYAYAYAYAYYAYAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have been looking for a new blog template and i finally found the perfect one!!!! Haha!!! i've always wanted to see the moon and the stars out at night at the SAME TIME!!!!!!! haha! =) but so far i only have been able to see either the moon out by itself or just the stars by themselves. =) i hope you all like it!!! :D

tye dye!!!

today was an art day at my house! =) i did math in the morning but for the rest of the day i finished painting a present and then i made a tye dye tank top!!! it was soooooo much FUN!!!! (the alcohol fumes got to my head though, because now i have a really bad head ache....=( but it was sooo worth it!! haha!! i decorated the front AND the back!!! (you can see the front a lot better than the back...) i hung the tank top up in my room to let it dry and the more i looked at it the more it reminded me of a bunch of colorful CDs!!!!! haha!!! it was really easy to make too!!! i'd LOVE to do that again sometime but with friends! =)

all you have to do is take some alcohol, a container, a few paper cups, rubber bands and some paper cups!!! i was soo surprised to see how many different designs i could come up with!!! =D

the family hike this morning....

the bottom picture is what my window looked like in the car this morning. and the top picture is what my family and i did with a few friends. =) there's nothing like waking up at 6 in the morning to go on a hike in the rain!!! the feeling of numbness when you try to feel your hands, cold, wet jeans stuck to your legs as your trying to walk, soggy socks and shoes, and being freezing cold for about an hour or so....Ahhh! YES!! there is no feeling that could ever beat that one! not being able to move your figures -let alone feel them- is just great! On the "up" side, though, i was able to hang out with my friends Makenzie, Hayden, Jacova, James, Matt, Alex, Emma, Aubrey, and Rachel!!! that was really fun!! we ended up not hiking the entire trail! PHEW! i didn't even make it half way when i turned around and started heading back down! haha!! Makenzie, hayden, Alex, Emma and I all agreed that it was just too crazy cold and that we wanted to head back! (good choice guys) ;) haha....once we got down to the bottom and back under the cover we all sat down and hung out and talked and waited for the rest of our fellow hikers. haha! Afterwards, (and once everyone was back to the starting place) we asked our parents if we could all go somewhere and get something WARM to eat and drink. We then went to Paradise Bakery and i got a lemon poppy seed glazed muffin with HOT CHOCOLATE!!!! yummm!!!! haha!! it tasted sooo GOOD!!! =) there, we just hung out some more (but this time inside.) and talked. i had a good time. but next time......i'm NOT going on a hike in the rain ever again!!!! HAHAHAhahaha!!!!! nope. you can just count me out of that one! haha!

...now i'm tired and sore and still kind of cold....I need something to get a second wind though becuase my day isn't over yet...... ;)

Happy 6th Birthday Sophie May!!!!!!

This past Saturday....April 4th to be exact.....;) was my puppy's 6th birthday!!!! We got an email saying "Happy Birthday Jan-now-Sophie" and saw a bunch of old pictures of her when she was 5 weeks old!!! She looked soooo CUTE!!!! Haha!!!

this picture of my brother has nothing to do with the park but its just another picture of someone having fun! i was throwing water balloons at him and he was hitting them with the tennis racket!

Ok just in case your wondering -as you scroll through these pictures- what the Little blue bags are we're holding.....WELL.....we didn't exactly have any water balloons.....so we took some of those doggy poop bags and filled them with water from the drinking fountain and tied them up!...talk about improvising!!!! Haha!

James kept splashing water on hayden and i while we were trying to refill our bags! (sooo not cool ;)

YES!!! we finally got him back!!!! haha!!! (that was soo much fun!)

Yesterday i went to the park with a few of my friends just to hang out and have fun. we had more than fun....we had a WATER BLAST!!!!!! Haha! we first started off by playing a little volleyball then we moved onto a little game of basketball. once that was over we all took a little break and cooled down with some otter pops that matt brought. then we went on the hill and skate boarded down it a few times! While i was going down the hill i had scrapped my knee. At first it didn't hurt that much but after a while it started to sting so i started heading over towards the drinking fountains. before i knew it everyone else had joined me! haha! and thats when the super fun water games started!!!! Haha!
