what is LIFE ABOUT???......

This past week was one of those "LIFE" weeks for me. i was thinking about life a lot and not just my life alone but other people's lives.... like my friends'. So i talked to my mom about whats been going on in MY life personally and she gave me this really good quote from some website. it's about LIFE....no duh...and it totally relates to teens! i really like it! i thought i'd share it with you guys!

fun in the dark with my tripod and flashlight!!!

tonight i took my friend's advice about taking my camera and playing with a flashlight in the dark!!! I clicked the shutter button down and it stayed there for about 15 sec. before coming back up and while it was down i was having soo much fun swaying my flashlight around in different patterns and in different directions!!! LOL!!! ITS SOOO FUN!!! OH MY GOSH!!! i had noo idea!! LOL!!! and the pictures all turned out really really COOL!!! LOL!!! you guys should SOOOO TRY IT SOME TIME!!!!!!!!!! just turn up your music and dance your heart out with you flashlights!!!!! LOL!!!!

Tonight I went to church feeling......
Tired.
Mad.
Upset.
Grumpy.
Worried.
Stressed.
and
Unloved.
I walked in the worship center feeling.....
Ok.
still Mad.
still Sad.
still Grumpy.
still Worried.
still Stressed.
still Unloved.
Then as I walked down to the pew I was feeling.....
a little Happier.
a little Calmer.
a little less Stressed.
a little more Loved.
Then I walked down toward my friends and my one friend gave me a HUGE hug and then I was feeling.....
Happy.
Accepted.
i forgot all about tomorrow.( Stressed)
and i felt way more Calmer.
and a lot more Loved.
I was still not quite back to "normal" though, I still was feeling stressed out over my test, tired of studying all day, and grumpy because of my long day and (lets just say..."off"..morning.) All that "stuff" from this morning was still ringing in my ear when I was in church and it continued to ring during worship and all during the announcements I could not concentrate the whole entire time....well at least until the message. Tonight was different in the sense was that we didn't have our usual pastor speak to us in person. He was out for the night so instead we watched a video of the guy who spoke this morning.....his name was Drave Dravecky. He was a major league pitcher for the Giants and the Padres. He had a tumor in his left arm......aka....his pitching arm and had to have it removed. =( He talked about Contentment in all circumstances. It was a really good message!! i LOVED it!! it really hit home for me tonight! then after the video was over they had a little interview with some of my friends about contentment and what it means to them. their storied were really good too!!! i LOVED everything they had to say! it was really eye opening for me personally to hear. I'm glad i went tonight.

last year i was looking up random homeschooling videos and i came across these two guy named Jarrod and David!!! they are both home schooled and are really funny! and best of all....RANDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!! that's the number one reason why i love watching their videos!!! REdedications....

Today i went to my friend's re dedication at the SBC chapel. it was soo cool! at first i didnt really understand what it was and what i was going to but then my parents explained it to me and once i was sitting there in the pews and watching what all was happening i figured it out! LOL!!! basically what they did was said their wedding vows to each other again after 25 years. it was sooo cool! i also got to hang out with some of my friends and eat some really yummy cake!! LOL!! =) i'm really glad that i got to go! the picture on the top is my friend's wedding dress that she had saved and the second picture is of a close up of the cake!!! (but that's not the cake i ate...hehe...im sure that one tasted just as good though!!)

my new weekend job!

i get to go to VYT every saturday at 9:00 in the morning and stay there until 12:30 in the afternoon!!!! i am helping out in two music classes with kids between the ages of 5-8 years old! today was my first day of "work" and it was sooooo FUN!!! all the kids are sooooo CUTE!!!! they are working on two songs within eight weeks! today we started with the first song! it's the chimney song from the movie Marry Poppins. the kids all sounded sooo cute and they are all talented in their own way! =) i LOVED sitting there and listening to them sing!! i can't wait until next Saturday and i can't wait to see all the kids' smiling bright faces again!!!!

FRIENDS NEEDED

Ok this might sound really weird and it's totally random! but i was just wondering if there are anyone out there who wouldn't mind doing a fun photo shoot with me? I really want to use my camera more and this was one way of using it a lot! So if there are any of you out there who wouldn't mind and would like to just post a comment saying "yes" or "no" or "i dont do pictures!" LOL!!! OK Thanks!!!

the Fiesta Bowl Parade

Today I went to the Fiesta Bowl Parade with my family and friends! It was soooooo much fun! we all had a great time! we sat with each other for a long time and talked about random stuff for two hours! (we got there really early) it was really cold in the morning but then it started to get hot. The parade started with the sponsors of the parade. (the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation) that was kinda boring -no lie- but then after them it got interesting! LOL! there were soooo many people there it was crazy! :) but cool. They had A LOT of high school bands and motorcycles and HORSES!!!!!!!!!!! they even had mini horeses!!!!!!! That was my favorite part of the whole parade! (was those little horses) LOL!!! they were soooooooo CUTE!!!! after the parade we went to a park to have lunch! we went with the same friends that we were sitting with at the parade....that was soooo much fun too!!! we stayed there for a long time! im sooo glad that we went! today was soooo fun!!!

OH YEAH!!! also another really cool part about today was IT WAS MY DAD'S BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D im glad that he had a great Bday too!
